Dr. Matthew Barrett

Dr. Matt Barrett relocated to Calgary to complete his Family Medicine Residency after earning a Bachelor of Kinesiology, a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology, and a Medical Degree from Memorial University in his hometown of St. John’s, Newfoundland.

 

With a strong belief in the power of healthy living, he is particularly passionate about lifestyle medicine and its role in overall well-being. His background in competitive hockey instilled in him a deep appreciation for teamwork, a value that continues to shape his medical practice. Outside of work, he enjoys running, hiking, and skiing in Calgary and the surrounding mountains with his partner and their dog, Booker.
